What's happening at JN Solutions?

JN Solutions has moved from Darling Park to Grosvenor Place. Our new address is:
Level 22 Grosvenor Place, 225 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000.
Our new office is roughly 6 times the size of our old office and has enabled us to create a more flexible work environment. We now have 4 themed rooms:

• Collaborate: Our main room where we work as a team.
• Think: A space where a staff member can go to get some uninterrupted work done.
• Communicate: An area where we have meetings and interact with our customers.
• Play: Beanbags, sofas, beers, a projector and a PS3 - somewhere to relax.

A creative environment has always been an important thing at JN Solutions, and we now have 5 whiteboards - the largest being 5.6 meters long! If it was vertical it would be 2 stories high.

JN Solutions will be exhibiting JSAdvatage at the 2010 NESA conference in Sydney.

This will be a great opportunity for Job Services Australia providers that are interested in our software to have a demonstration, talk to existing users and get first hand feedback.

From July 1st 2010 JN Solutions’ energy will come from renewable sources whenever possible. JN Solutions will be housed in a 6 star energy rated building and offsetting our carbon emissions of flights.

ESS is currently suffering a prolonged outage.

We would just like to let our users know that JSAdvantage is still fully functional and any work done will by synced with DEEWR as soon as their system come back online.

Today JN Solutions was approved by DEEWR to access and operate with Job Services Australia data for use in its third party software, thereby breaking the monopoly that DEEWR’s ESS software has on the industry.

JN Solutions is the only software provider to have DEEWR approved access to data.

Today marked the end of the 6 month approval process we had to go through to show DEEWR that JN Solutions was a highly secure organisation and that the JSAdvantage software suite was compliant with their security requirements.

At this stage JN Solutions is the only organisation to have successfully gone through the audit process and once we are approved JN Solutions will be the only third-party provider to be approved by DEEWR.

For those who unaware of the DEEWR approval process, DEEWR has created a system whereby an organisation that is not a Job Services Australia Provider can access the confidential information that providers need to fulfil the ESD4. In order to gain access to this system we must become approved by DEEWR. The security standard is based on ISO27002 – a standard to which JN Solutions already adheres to.

Once approved we can replace and improve upon functionality in ESS (officially this time).

A new, more user friendly version of analytics has been launched for JSA.

The old Analytics used to bring DEEWR data to peoples fingertips in a way EA reporting never managed. We are now able to bring a much more useful array of information to people due to Analytics’ integration with Bridge.

Because users are entering information in to Bridge, Analytics can directly report, in real time, on the state of a site.

The focus for Analytics is going to be “Actionable Analysis”. An example of this would be a report that shows how many job seekers do not have an intense activity in their EPP that should have. Clicking the displayed number will then display the detailed list in Bridge, thereby making the analysis actionable.

Bridge has successfully connected to the newly released diary web service from DEEWR. The services are running exceptionally fast - thanks DEEWR.

This means that users of Bridge will now be able to see appointments within minutes of their creation by Centrelink within Bridge.

Update: It turns out that we are the first external organisation to successfully use one of DEEWRs web services.

JSAdvantage is an end to end solution for Job Services Australia. The suite includes Bridge, Analytics and Starcast.
